The Mysterious Benedict Society series - Trenton Lee Stewart

This series celebrates cleverness and adventure, with a precocious team of genius kids, each with a different cultural background and set of skills. The mysteries and puzzles that the witty foursome encounter are engaging for late elementary-age readers, and importantly, are not cloying or condescending in their unfolding. The chapters are complex, and the language level is appropriately challenging for this age group.
