“The Paris Apartment” - Lucy Foley
🖊 Nothing and no one are as they appear. It was sort of a zany plot once it fully unfolded, but it was definitely a fast-paced, enjoyable read.
🖊 True to style, Foley plays around with time, alternating between the time of the victim’s death, hours later, and days later.
🖊 Jess arrives in Paris in a desperate attempt to reset her life. When she arrives at her half-brother Ben’s apartment building as they had planned, he is nowhere to be found. The other residents of the building are unusually tight-lipped, and, shall we say, peculiar. If the worst has befallen Ben, can Jess at least discover what happened before her own time is up?
