April 2023 Wrap-Up

 

“The Mitford Affair” and “My Dear Hamilton” were examples of my favorite sort of historical fiction - the kind that is so well researched, that it illuminates aspects of history with which the reader might not be familiar. “Miss Benson’s Beetle” is a second novel centering an unusual creature (“Remarkably Bright Creatures” being the first), that is on my 2023 favorites list.
