🦊 If you enjoyed the Robert Thorogood Marlow series, don’t miss this one! On the surface, Ron, Elizabeth, Judith (our diarist), and Ibrahim form the unlikeliest of friends. Other than their ages, and being residents of the Coopers Chase retirement community, what do they have in common? Turns out, rather a lot! An abiding interest in cracking cold cases, is what brings them together, but an endearing love for one another keeps them that way.
🦊 The gang meets weekly to pore over cold cases. This time, a present-day murder grips their attention and pulls them out of their cozy hypothetical cocoon in the Coopers Chase Jigsaw Room.
🦊 I love this gang of geriatric sleuths. They each have their role to play, and the group needs all of them to succeed. I enjoyed their camaraderie. I’m thinking Ms. Jane Fonda would be marvelous as Elizabeth if they ever make a film adaptation of the series.
