DNF: “The Cornish Village Murder” - Fiona Leitch

🖼️ I scoured Libby, Kindle, and Everand and no one seems to have book 1 in this series. I found Fiona Leitch as a recommendation for fans of Robert Thorogood and Hannah Hendy.

🖼️ The love interest of the main character is grating, yet it seems to provide a critical plot point. It was especially incomprehensible given all the gritty real-life-is-far-from-perfect details that Leitch imbues in Jodie’s life that she would fall for the person in question. I couldn’t get behind the story, so alas, it was a DNF for me.
