“Magpie Murders” - Anthony Horowitz

(Susan Ryeland book 1)

🖊️ I’m going to be a little tight-lipped with this review because I don’t want to offer even the slightest spoiler. This book was easily the trippiest whodunit I’ve ever read, and I mean that in the best way possible.

🖊️ The chapters jump around between the POV of Susan Ryeland, a London book editor, and the pages of her ornery client Alan Cosway’s latest Atticus Pünd murder mystery novel. But how do the goings on at Pye House come to bear on Susan’s world? All I’ll say is buckle up for this meta whodunit!
