“Mastering the Art of French Murder” - Colleen Cambridge

🥐 The fact that this historical mystery is set in 1949 Paris, and features Julia Child as a major character are the best parts of this novel. Tabitha Knight is the protagonist and the fictional best friend of Mrs. Child.

🥐 MAFM is super short and felt incomplete to be honest. Tabitha overhears the baddies discuss the plot and their roles in it. There’s no actual detective work involved. I’d skip this one, unless of course, you’re a Julia Child megafan - you might like the parts about her.
