“Death of a Perfect Wife” - M. C. Beaton
(Hamish Macbeth book 4)
🦅 Poor, lovesick Hamish finds himself embroiled in yet another murder mystery. The will they/won’t they of Hamish and Priscilla has been in place since book 1, and I for one, love it.
🦅 Hamish has to set his own heart aside to work out killed the newcomer “perfect wife” Trixie Thomas. He’s got his work cut out for him, as due to her OTT chipper attitude and remarkable ability to sway the local ladies towards such things as a sensible, low-cholesterol diet, nearly every man in Lochdubh has had it with her pushy methods.
🦅 A fun cozy mystery like its predecessors, I have no notes.
