“Murder Most Royal” - S. J. Bennett

🎄Her Majesty the Queen is back at it again! This time, it’s Christmas season at Sandringham but a murderous person on the Queen’s estate isn’t feeling the spirit of the season. 

🎄 There’s an extensive cast of new characters in this one; I’d recommend bookmarking the character list Bennett provides. Val and Flora are suspicious siblings hiding something in connection with the murder victim. The newly employed accountant at Sandringham has something amiss in his life as well.

🎄MMR is full to the brim with details of Sandringham life. I love the tid-bits about the Queen’s daily routines (i.e. her habit of going through her red box of government memoranda from bottom to top) and personality quirks. HRH views on the 2016 American elections as portrayed by Bennett are rather as I suspect she reacted in real life (privately, of course).
