“Death of a Greedy Woman” - M. C. Beaton
(Hamish Macbeth book 8)
🥂 Hamish takes a gamble to get his confession in this book, just as he did in book 7. But the odds of his success on the scant evidence before him, were dubious to say the least. But if you can put misgivings about his methodology aside, DOGW is a pleasant, Lochdubh village mystery.
🥂A particularly nasty woman dies (see title), and it’s her fellow guests at the local castle-turned-hotel who fall under suspicious.
🥂 I continue to love the Priscilla-Hamish storyline; will they finally stop kidding themselves?!
