“The Pale Horse” - Agatha Christie

🔮 This is one of Aunt Agatha’s deepest dives into the world of dark magic and its practitioners. While a departure from the Marples and Poirots, it’s a must-read for Aunt Ag fans nonetheless!

🔮Mark Easterbrook is just a Mughal scholar, minding his own business when he is unwittingly drawn into a series of deaths - all of which appear unremarkable at first glance, but upon reflection also seem curiously linked.

🔮 Further, the deaths don’t raise suspicion as they  are utterly undetectable. Can Mark Easterbrook along with pals Ariadne Oliver (!!) and Ginger Corrigan, as well as DI Lejeurn come up with a plausible solution that would hold up in court and catch and punish those behind this dastardly criminal enterprise?

🔮 The audiobook is narrated by Hugh Fraser (Capt. Hastings in tv’s “Poirot”) so that’s definitely a point in favor of listening to this one!
