💰They say say MHC is a gothic thriller combined with the absurdity of “Cold Comfort Farm”. I will say the comparison between the denizens of Cold Comfort Farm and Great Misery are apt, as are Marigold’s perplexing interactions with them. However I’d say the gothic thriller vibes were lukewarm at best. Perhaps this is best a YA or middle grade novel?
